Holy Mass is an experimental narrative on 16 mm color. Veronica Hines, a middle aged lady who has strong spiritual inclinations, calling for an emergency family meeting on a good Friday . Her young brothers, Reverent Peter Hines, a priest, Mathew Hines, a tabloid editor /activist, and Paul Hines, a troubled cop, get together in Veronica's house in the evening. The unique behaviors of these brothers, unravels through their conversations, while they are waiting for their sister to come out of her meditation. Reverent Hines has a relationship with Mary, a parochial school teacher who is pregnant. He loves to have sex with pregnant woman and usually kills his partners about in their third trimester. Mathew Hines calls himself an activist and organizer of the sex workers in the city and edits a tabloid. Paul Hines is a Police officer who just gets back into the job after a long suspension for killing a black youth, while he was on duty. Even though, these four siblings are apparently different in personalities a particular trait in their character connecting them together and the movie explores human spirituality in the milieu of Christianity, blood scarifies, and necrophilia
